Taylor reportedly becomes final commit in Syracuse’s Class of 2015

Outside linebacker Ted Taylor has signed a National Letter of Intent to play at Syracuse, Scout.com reported Tuesday afternoon. He becomes the 25th and last commit in SU’s Class of 2015.

The Dodge City (Kansas) Community College product had offers from the Orange and Kansas, but took the final spot in SU’s class. Scout has him running a 4.5-second 40-yard dash and measuring 6 feet, 1 inch and 215 pounds.

Taylor — SU’s first commit from the state of Kansas in this year’s class — becomes the third outside linebacker to sign off with Syracuse, joining three-star products Troy Henderson and Shyheim Cullen.

He’s also the third junior college product to join the Orange, along with tight end Trey Dunkelberger and preferred walk-on quarterback Zack Mahoney.
