Syracuse’s Treanor earns 1st-team preseason All-American honors by Inside Lacrosse; 3 others receive honorable mentions

Four Syracuse women’s lacrosse players have been named Inside Lacrosse preseason All-Americans. Inside Lacrosse released the All-American lists one day after it ranked Syracuse fourth in its Face-Off Yearbook preseason Top 20.

Junior attack Kayla Treanor was named a first-team All-American while attack Kailah Kempney and defenders Maddy Huegel and Mallory Vehar were all honorable mention All-Americans.

Treanor was a Tewaaraton Award finalist in 2014, finishing first in the nation with 117 points and second in the nation with 79 goals.

Kempney holds the all-time program record with 253 draw controls.
