Syracuse releases football training camp schedule

The dates and times for football training camp were announced in an Syracuse University Athletics release on Wednesday, with camp starting on Saturday August 2. Some times and dates are tentative.

Other important dates on the training camp schedule include the Orange Fan Fest from 3–7 p.m. on Saturday August 9, and the week in Fort Drum, N.Y., that will start on Tuesday the 12th. SU will spend four days in Fort Drum before returning to campus to practice at Manley Field House and the Carrier Dome. Media will be able to attend practice until August 19, when SU switches from pre- to regular season.

The Orange opens its season against Villanova in the Carrier Dome at 7:30 p.m. on August 29.
