Syracuse junior attack Kevin Rice and redshirt sophomore defender Brandon Mullins were named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference team Wednesday.

Rice leads Syracuse with 54 points and 28 assists, and his 26 goals are second on the Orange. Rice has been named ACC Offensive Player of the Week three times and has scored six points in five games this season.

Brandon Mullins has started every game this season after missing the majority of the 2013 campaign due to injury. He leads the team with 12 caused turnovers and has picked up 24 ground balls.

The All-ACC team consists of 18 players picked by the league’s six coaches, who were not allowed to vote for their own players. Maryland had the most All-ACC selection with five, Duke had four, North Carolina four, Syracuse and Notre Dame two and Virginia one.

No. 4 Syracuse’s next game is against No. 2 Duke in the semifinals of the ACC tournament on Friday at 5 p.m. in Chester, Pa.
